Pro-Am History

Considered by many to be the best pro-am in Europe, the mission of the founders of International Pro-Am was to build and maintain a fun and wonderful competition in fantastic places, with friends and happy people.

2021

Stopped by COVID virus, the Pro-Am founders had time to prepare new formats and interesting thing to propose for next year. Location remains Portugal due to a favorite Climate and good links.

2022

In early 2022, Amendoeira Golf Course was chosen to be the base of the International Pro-Am. In an area of outstanding natural beauty comprising the award-winning Faldo Course, designed by Sir Nick Faldo, the challenging O’Connor Jnr. Course and the only illuminated Par 3 in Portugal.

Due to the success of March competition, Luca Madessu chose to repeat the competition in December.

Experienced golfers, New golfers, Happy golfers...every golfer will be helped by Pro golfers to have fun and improve their skills in an amazing environment. This is a competition for everyone. It’s challenging without being intimidating. Competitive, yet it brings out a sense of camaraderie. It’s where you can develop your game without proper lessons but just having fun and learning from professional golfers play.
